Family "Big Game" Night

Valentine Making Party
Ladies Life Group is once again sponsoring a Valentine Making Party on Saturday, February 11th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Everyone is invited including children. The Valentines will then be distributed to people in nursing homes. A light lunch will be provided. You can come for just the morning or afternoon or the whole time. Please let Pam Lusitana or Dorothy Mayes know if you are interested in joining us.
Nursery/Youth Worker Training
A training session is scheduled for all nursery and youth workers on February 12 at 12:30 p.m. Please plan on attending.
Christian Women's Connection
The annual convention for Illinois Women of the Church of God will be held at the Northfield Inn, April 20-22. Information and registration available at the Welcome Center.
Our next sermon-based small group series starts February 19th. Sign up to be in a six-week small group experience. Registration starts on February 5th. Check "small groups" in you Connection Card and someone will contact you.
Leading Turnaround Churches
Dr. Gary McIntosh, President of the Church Growth Network and Professor of Christian Ministry and Leadership at Talbot School of Theology, will be at Camp Warren to do a one-day conference on Leading Turnaround Churches. This will take place March 3, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Gary will tackle issues of how churches of any size can grow through effective strategies. We are asking Ministry Council, Ministry Team members (and others who are interested ) to attend. Cost is $15.00, which includes lunch. Contact Pastor Jay for registration information.
